Keys to Better Health: Avoiding Unhealthy Habits

What we do with our body has an effect on longevity. Each person has free will to live in whatever way they want. I have tried to live my life with the adage "Moderation is Key". Despite that adage, there have been times when I have over-done certain things, like eating the wrong foods, trying to move an object that's too heavy, not drinking enough liquids, staying out in the sun too long, etc.

There are certain activities though that carry a greater risk to your health. Especially with what you put into it. I have never smoked. I have been around smokers or vapers, but not partaken. I rarely drink anything with alcohol, but when I do, it's only one drink for an occasion. I have never done any drugs either. Each of these activities carries an increased risk of damage to your body. If you partake in any of them, beware that each can have detrimental effects on your body long-term. In my opinion it's best to avoid them, or if you don't, remember "Moderation is Key".

No matter what you do in life, remember your body is along for the ride. Have fun, but consider each activity and balance fun vs. risk to your health.
